I thought it would be worth a tongue-in-cheek experiment to see if pure chartists can be taken seriously in their claim that the work is applicable to any chart. As we can see, there is a triangle pattern forming on that chart, albeit from two different lines. The lines for Clinton and Trump are respectively heading up and down to test resistance and support. If we were trading this chart, then resistance for Clinton would be 48.19-49.99. Support for Trump would be at the 43.01-43.62 zone. We are not going to take sides, but simply explore what happens when (and if) these zones are interacted with. Interesting, isn’t it?
